The best is the Family Bottle, which contains nearly tbree times at much as the 2/6 bottle. Sold by all respectable Chemists and Storekeepers throughout the Colonies. It is refreshing to Qnd Ladies and Gentlemen who. in gratitude fot the relief brought them, either go to the trouble and expense of publishing the fact, or writing to ihir I friends, telling them about the SCOTTISH HIGHLAND OIL, or. in the sprit of true gtititude, visit the afflicted, and sliow them how their agonies may be appeased and their sufferings alleviated. Already a long liat of names have been enrolled, aud it is my desire that all who have been cured should tend me their address, not for publication, but as a satisfacu'on to my own mind, and as a just tribute to the Oils, I think there cannot be any fear of beirg accused of exaggeration after reading th. te a timonials published, ard those now appearing, to say that in the experience of human knowledge there never haa been an agent offered to the public which has so easily, painlessly, nnd pleasantly cured ?o many people regarded by our noble Faculty of medicine as incurable ; and it cennot now be said that professional men have been distanee^ by ordinary mcrtala I glory in the fact that I belong, by birth end education to the professional class. I regret, however, that the commercial conditions of things renders it necessary that I should adopt a system of action at variance wit'i professional etiquette for the sale of mv goods'. It is, however, a great satisfaction to me thit 'the grandest cures which could be ac complished anywhere have been done in the very city and country where the discovery w«. made, and I trust that ns . pople get accustomed to the use oi the Scottish Oil. we shall see hundreds and tlousHnds of suffering humanity rejoice again in the vig. r and strength ot regenerated constitution* Here follows the most extra<irdirary list of cures ever presented lo the inhabitants of these colonies: — Fifteen Yfars a Martyr to Headache. Ju'y 11, 1877. Dear Pir, — It is impossible for any one lo express his heartfelt gratitude for the relief I now erjoy from a terrible affliction, under which I existed for years I can hardly now think of it but with horror. Ic mu3t be a great satisfaction for you to know that ycur Oila can fo quickly and painlessly cure. I shall certa-'nly feel bound to tell the good news to all my friends. James Goodwin. £60 Spent, but got No Kelief Testimontal. — Another testimonial respecting Pottie's Highland Oil has been n ceived by the A°ent, Mr C. L. Tweedie. It is as follows: — Sir, for many years I have suffered from rheumatism in the buck; and some time ago it cost me over £60 to go to Sydney and have medical advice, without, however, receiving any rtlief. I determined to try a bottle of Highland Oil, for which you nre agent, and have much pleasure in stating that after a few applications I was entirely relieved from all pain, and can safely recommend it to others suffering from a similar complaint to mine.— Jons Mddie, Bombala. Lumbago for 26 Years. Rylstone, October 7, 1876. \ To Messrs. White & M'C ulloch, Rylstone. Gentlemen,-— I have much pleasure in informing you, as Agents for Pottie's Scottish Highland Oil, tbat the said medicine has been the means of curing me from lumbago, from which I have suffered for the past 26 years, being at times scarcely able to crawl, owing to the severity of the c< roplaint. I make this statement feeling convinced that the Oils (S.H.) will cure any one suffering in a like manner. I request that you will give publicity to the above, and remain yours very truly, — John McNeil Beaton. 102, Liverpool-street, Sydney. Dear Fir,— l was laid up for many long months in bed. and had tried all the doctor* could do for me, but got only woree. At last a man clled with a little of Scottish Oil. I was then in bed, suffering terrible agony, with my legs bent under me. I saw no hope for li f e; but the firsi bottle of your Oil brought relief, I could crawl about. I stuck to the fomentation, Oils, and hot iron, and in two months got the use of my limbs. 1 I cau never expect to be perfectly well, for I am an old man, but I owe all to the Scottish Highland Oil. — Arch M'Eldowny. Newtown. Twenty-three years bad with a tumour on my neck, and tried no end of prescriptions, until I saw that an operation was my only chance. Fortunately I heard about the Scottish Oil, and by rubbing regularly, the tumour melted away without any kind of pain.— H. Chase, Newtown. From Sydney Freeman's Journal. MIRACULOUS. — A most miraculous cure haa come under my notice in Araluen. A miner in this locality named Duggan had been complaining for years of a swelling on his breast, which defied the medical skill of the district. Dr Llewellyn, residing in Braidwood, ai'ter vainly experimenting with divers panaceas, &c, advised the patient to po to the Sydney Infirmary. After some time he did as he was counselled, but what was the result ? Why, after remaining in the hospital for about Dine months under the treatment of the leading medicos, he was pronounced incurable. He returned to Araluen worse in fact than when he went to Sjdney. owing, I suppose to the vast quantities of medicine he had taken, coupled with the fatigue of such a long overland journey. Some months ago Mr Curry (Dr Llewellyn's servant) suggested to Mr Duggan to rub the swelling with "Pottie's Highland Oil.' He did as waa suggested, and wonderful was the result. The swelling came to a head in a short time, and burst, discharging a quantity of matter. In one cf these discbarges a bone came out, it being the sole cause ot the swelling, as can be testified by the man, whose health has been perfectly restored. He is now able to work as usual in the claim. Now, thenui ior your Sydney M.D.'s is, how came the bone there? My principal reason for writing this is to inform those gentlemen who attended Mr Duggan at the Infirmary of the mysterious result.— Araluen Corresponded t. Manufactured by J. POTTIE, 263, Eliza-beth-street, Sydney. .SOLE AGENT FOR NELSON— LOUIS ROTHER, (Late C. Harlino) TRAFALGAR-STREET. 1396
