The whole of the profits are divided amongst the assured, and bonuses to the amount of £910,000 have already been allotted. The last division of profits took place in 1874, and the cash surplus then divided amounted to £235,000, giving additions to policies averaging £3 per cent per annum on the Bum assured. Tho bonuses paid on policies becoming claims have varied from £15 per cent on the sum assured for a polity of five years' ctandinv at £150 per cent for one of twenty* five yfaifl' duration Bonuses become veste 1 additions to policies when they have been full five rears in force. The profits realised during the last five years will be ascertained and divided bb at 3 1st December next, and all policies issued on or before that date will be entitled to participate in the profits of quinquionium.
