We wish to correct a printer's error which occurred in the third line of our leading article yesterday where the word " superior " was substituted for " inferior." Thk following cases were heard at the Resident Magistrate's Court this morning:— Harley v. Kesteven. Action to recover £35, amount of dishonored acceptance, and for beer supplied. Mr Pitt appeared for plaintiff; there was no appearance of defendant. Judgment for amount claimed and costs £3 2s.— Fell v. Oklfield. Action to recover £57, overdue interest. Defeudant had telegraphed from Taranaki admitting the debt, and judgment was recorded against him with £1 19s costs.
