The Murray leaves Onehunga for Waitara and Nelson to-morrow. The Wallace left Blenheim for Wellington this morning. The Lady Barkly leaves for * Golden Bay to-morrow morning at 8 o'clock. The Ringarooma leaves the Bluff for Melbourne to-morrow. The Wellington arrived at Wellington early this morning. She leaves there on the return trip to-morrow afternoon. The Taranaki made a good passage of 8£ hours to Wellington, having arrived there at 10.30 last evening. The Awaroa was ready to leave Wanganui on Saturday, but has been detained since then by (he bar being unworkable. The Tararua leaves Melbourne for New Zealand ports to-day. She comes via Hobarton. The friends in Nelson of Captain Bowling, and there are a great many, will be glad to j hear of the eafe arrival of the Adamant at London at the latter end of last month. The Charles Edward arrived at Wellington this morning, and will leave there for Nelson to-morrow evening, her detention being caused by inability to provide her with a berth at the wharf The Wanaka leaves Onehunga this afternoon, will arrive here to-morrow evening, and sail for Taranaki and Manukau, calling at Wellington at 4.30 p.m. on Friday. She takes the place of the Taranaki, which was advertised for the North on Saturday. The barque Elizabeth, which it will be remembered put into Wellington some few weeks ago in a leaky condition, has been a prolific source of litigation. Two weeks ago the master was summoned by the mate for assaulting him and fined. The master in his turn gave the mate in charge for absenting himself from the vessel without leave, he having come on shore for the purpose of getting some wholesome food. The Court recommended the master to give the mate his discharge, but the latter declined to accept it, and he was ordered to he sent on board. Last week one of the seamen sued the captain for £50 damages for injuries sustained by him through the captain shoving him through a door and breaking his finger. The Court, however, could give the seaman no redress, but fined the captain £10 and costs amounting to over £6. The captain is evidently getting the worst of it in the Court.
