The Wallace arrived at Wellington last Bight, and will sail for Nelson this evening. The Murray arrived at Waitara yesterday morning, and will leave for Nelson to-morrow morning. The Lyttelton arrived at Blenheim from Welliugton last night, and will sail for Nelson to-morrow morning. The Charles Edward reports Hokitika bar T)ad, and uncertain when she will get out. There has been a heavy flood in the river. The Midge is loading with iron rails for Wai tap v alongside the Government Wharf. The Awaroa did not sail for Wanganui this morning, in consequence of the unfavorable state of the weather. The Ringarooma, which left Melbourne on Wednesday last, arrived at the Bluff this morning. The Taranaki sailed for Northern ports at 5 p.m. on Saturday, but the telegraph is silent as to whether or not she was able to communicate with the shore at New Plymouth yesterday. The Wellington leaves Wellington this afternoon, will arrive hero to-morrow morning, and sail for Picton and Wellington at 7 o'clock in the evening. The Kcnlish Tnr finished discharging cargo this afternoon, and will commence taking in the remainder of her ballast to-morrow morning. The strong N.W. wind yesterday raised a heavy sea outside the Boulder Bank, and at high water there was a nasty swell on inside the harbor. Fortunately all the vessels alongside the wharves had a good supply of fenders down which prevented them from sustaining any damage. Two or three coasters were prevented from going to sea in consequence of the adverse state of the weather. The Maori arrived off the Lighthouse yesterday morning at three o'clock after a smart passage of thirteen and a half hours from Tapnaki. She left Onehunga at 3 p.m. on Eriday, and crossed the Manukau bar at 5.30 p.m., arriving off Taranaki at 7 a.m. on Saturday; after landinc passengers aud cargo, and shipping 212 sheep, the Maori proceeded on in Nelson at 130 p.m. Experienced strong N.W. winds across the Straits, arriving here as above, and entering the harbor at 7 a.m. The Maori sailed for Wellington and South at 3.30 p.m. to-day.
