Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received frrm Mr H. J. Hart. We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed article to a very careful chemical analysis and exHmination. The results of the enaljais, which are ge forth in a separate report show that this spirit is of good strength, jractically free from aciduy, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in solution. It possesses a ■lelicate and flgreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Habt's Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior article of Ha class, is well purified, and is quite genuine. It hnß a pure fragrant odour, nnd is absolutely free from any trncs of fu'il or other injnrioun impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye gr in, olways used instead of malt in the production of the choicest quaiitus of Schnapps.
