WRITING CASES and DESKS ON ; SALE at R. LUCAS & SON'S IMPERIAL SCHIEDAMJCHNAPPS, Dr. Hassall 's Report. The Analytical and Sanitary Institution, 54, Holborn Viadncfc, E C. London, 9th May, 1877. Report on a Sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps received from Mr fl. J. Hart. We have subjected a simple of the above-^ named article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The resnlts of the analysis, which are se. forth in a separate report show that this spirit is ©f good strength, practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and Rgreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Hart's Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior ariicle of its class, is well purified, and is quite genuine. (Signed) A rthtjr H. Hassall, M.D.,* Author of " Food and its Adulteration. 1 ' Oito Henner, F. 0.5.. Public Analyst. Wm. Johnson's Report. Government Aneh tical Laboratory, Melbourne,i23rd July, 1877. Henri J. Bart, Esq. Sir,— l have the honor to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forward d by yon to me has been submitted to a Beaiching chemical analysis and critical examinftti^n, the result of which enables me to etate that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, end is absolutely free from any trncs of fueil or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye gr«in, olwaya used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in this respect compart s favourably with other samples offered for sale. It may be advised as equally j suitable for medical or economic purposes. I have the honour to be, §-c, CSigred) Wm. Johnson. Analytical Chemist to the Government of Victoria. This Pure Medical Spirt.
