A niiner ia this locality named Duggan had . been complbinin£ /or years of a swelling on his breast, which defied the medical skill of the district. Dr Llewellyn, residing in -Braidwood, after vainly experimenting with divers 'panaceas? &c, advised the patient to go to the Sydney Inflrmary:* After some time he ;did as he was counselled, but what waa. the -result? Why, after remaining in the hospital for about- nine months under the treatment of the leading medicos, he was pronounced incurable. He returned to Araluen worse in fact than when he went to Sydney, owing, I suppose to the r vast quantities of ! medicinei he had taken- coupled with the fatigue of audi a, 1 long "overland 'journey. Some montha 4go Mt Curry (Dr Llewellyn's servant) suggested to Mr Dupgan to rub the swelling with "Potties Highland Oil.' He did as 4ras suggested, and wonderful was the result. ' The swelling-came to a headin a short lime, and burst, discharging a quantity oi matier. 'In ' One of these discharges a bonec^me out it being the soie cause ot the swelling i as can be testified by .the _man, whose health has been perfectly restored. He is now able to work as usual in the claim. Now, the put for your Sydney M-.D. j b is,- hhw came the bone there? My principal reason for writing this, is -to" inform.. those gentlemen who lattended Mr Duggan at the Infirmary of !the mysterious result.— Araluen Correspondent. Manufactured by J.
