Melbourne, Monday. Mr Sladen has introduced a Bill into the Council to amend its Constitution in the Assembly. Mr Berry gives a similar notice of a Bill to reform the Constitution. It is stated the bank representatives decline to advise a heavier loan than three millions, including the purchase money of the Hobson's Bay Railway. The Tararua sailed on Friday last. The Arawata arrived yesterday. ,_. ' Sydney, Monday. The schooner Tucker, bound for Wellington with a cargo of wharf timber and general merchandise, is a complete wreck on the North Beach, Clarence River. The vessel and cargo are fully insured.
