The whole of the profits are divided amongst the aseured, and'honuses'to' the amount of JE910.000 have aliesdy been allotted. The last division of profits took place in 1874. and the cash surplus then divided amounted to £235,000, giving additions to policies averaging £3 per cent per annum on tbe sum assured. The bonuses paid on policies becoming claims have varied from £15 per cent on the fcuou assured for a policy of five years' standing to £150 per cent for one of twentyfive years' duration Bonuses become veste ' additions to policies when they have teen full five years in iorte. The profits rea'ised during the last five years will be ascertained and divide ! as at 3 (as lecember next, and all policies issued on or before thnt date will be entitled to parlicipate in the profits of quinquinnium.
