We have subjected & s»mple of the above- . named article to a very careful chemical: analysis and examination. ' The results of the analysis, which are se '. forth in a separate report show that (his; spirit is «f good strength, practically free; from acidity, and that it contains but traces : of solid matter in solution. It possesses a delicate and Rgreeable aroma, and a pure and ; mild taste. Mr Hart's Sckiedam Schnapps ; is a very superior article of its class, is well purified, and hi quite genuine. It has a pure fragrant odour, nnd is absolutely free from any trace of fiuil or other injurious impurity, and has. evidently been distilled from, superior rye gr>"in, olwaye used Instead of malt in the production of the choicett qualitits of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in this respect com - pan s favourably with other annoplos offered for eale. It may be advised as equally] suitable for medical or economic purposes.
