The Charles Edward left for West Coast ports last night. The Murray Icave3 Now Plymouth for Nelson this evening. The Kennedy left Greymouth for Westport and Nelson this morning. The Prospect, from Motueka, brings a load of potatoes for the Waratah.

The Lady Barkly is expected to arrive from Golden Bay this evening. The Mao.-i is expected to arrive here from the West Coast on Sunday.

The Taranaki leaves Wellington to-day for New Plymouth direct. She will call here OQ her way South on Wednesday evening. The Torea was to leave Picton for DurTille's Island last evening. From there she will probably como to Nelson. The Southern Cross, which sailed last •teninjr, ran back iiito harbor this morning, having been unable to face the bad weather.

The Awaroa arrived from Wanganui this morning, having experienced the usual winds that are met with at this time of the year. The strong NW. wind to-day raiaed a ▼cry heavy sea on the bar, so that none of the coasting ressels could cross it. For this reason none of the "small fry" took their departure. The Wellington arrived in harbor this morning at 7.30. She left Wellington at I p.m. yesterday, and arrived at Picton at 6 p.m.} sailed at 8.30 p.m., and arrived hers M above. The Wellington sails for Picton and Wellington at 8.30 a.m. to-morrow. The Union Company's s.». Taiaroa, Capt. Wheeler, came into harbor early this morning. She left Onehunga on Wednesday afternoon, and arrived at New Plymouth early yesterday morning; the weather being fine she was enabled to land passengers and cargo, and proceed on to Nelson at noon, arriving here as above. The Taiaroa sails for Wellington and South at 5 p.m.
