The whole of the profits are divided amongst the assured, and bonuses to the amount of £910,000 have already been allotted. The last, divisio.n*qf profits took place ia 1874, and the cash surplus then divided amounted to £285,000, giving additions to policies averaging £3 per cent per annum on the sum assured.
