The Blackbird steamer, from Newcastle, has been wrecked on Ninety Mile Beach. The passengers and crew were savad and landed at Port Albert.
The weather is boisterous
Tuesday. There are 108 entries for the Melbourne Cup, and 40 for the Champion Stakes.
