J The Kennedy left Westport for Nelson this morning, and will arrive hero early tomorrow morning. The Wallace anived afc Wanganui early this morning, aud leaves on the return this evening. The Murray leaves Wellington for Nelson this eveniug. She will sail for the Coast ou Satnrday. . Tbe Lyttelton arrived afc Blenheim from j Wellington this morning. The Ringarooma leaves Melbourne for New Zealand to-day. The Waiatohi, after being cleaned and tarred, came off the hard tbis morning. The Maid of Otago was ballasted this afternoon, and will probably sail for some port on the other side of the Bay. The Wellington sailed for Picton and Wellington yesterday afternoon. She leaves the latter port to-morrow afternoon, and will arrive here on Friday morning. In answer to numerous enquiries we may state that the barque Ann Gambles, which was wrecked afc the Bluff recently, was in Nelson some years ago. Captain Morgan was here about three years ago in command of the Beautiful Star. The Taiaroa leaves New Plymouth this afternoon, and will arrive here to-morrow morning. She sails for Wellington aud South at 4 o'clock in tbe afternoon, taking cargo and passengers to the s.s. Taranaki, ■which leaves Wellington on Friday afternoon for Taranaki and Manukau. The Arawata anived afc Lyttelton this morning. She will nofc come any further tban Wellington, having to leave that porfc on Friday afternoon. Her passengers will be forwarded to her by the Taiaroa, which leaves here to-morrow afternoon. The iron & earner which is being constructed opposite the Anchor Foundry is fast approaching completion, and in tbe course of a few weeks will be ready for launching. She is now nearly plated, while c a very strong vessel, and well adapted lor the trade for which she is intended. The barque Craigie Lee, which was reported the other da} r to have put into an Australian port in a disabled condition, was \bound for Wellington, having left London on the 6th February. She was a Dublin vessel of 622 tons register, and was uuder charter to Messrs Shaw, Savill e, and Co. She had no passengers on board.
