The Uno sailed for Wellington this morning with a cargo of timber. The schooner Maid of Otago is awaiting orders from head quarters. The Wallace left for Wanganui at 1.30 p.m. to-day. The Charles Edward left for West Coast ports at 8.30 this moruing. The Kennedy leaves Greymouth for Westport this evening. Tbe Murray arrived at Wellington early this morning She leaves on the return trip to-morrow evening. The ketch Ocean Bird got ashore in trying to cross the Kaiapoi bar, but is likely to come off. The Tararua sailed for Melbourne and West Coast ports yesterday afternoon, and arrived at Westport at 7 a.m. to-day. The Taiaroa leaves Onehunga to-day, will arrive here on Thursday morning, and sail for Wellington and South in the afternoon. Tbe Rialto was to leave Wellington for the old country yesterday afternoon. She will be followed by the Chaudiere. The-Torea sailed for Durville's Island this morning, and will probably return here on Thursday. The schooner Awaroa, bound for Wanganui, was towed to sea by the Lady Barkly this afternoon. In order to get a good offing the schooner was taken well across the Bay. The Chaudiere, on the passage from Nelson to Wellington, had a *pin with the steamer Stella in the Strcits, and kept pace with her, although the yards were well braced up. The Wellington arrived from Picton and Wellington at six o'clock this morning. She left the latter port at 1 p.m. yesterday, and reached Picton at 7 p.m.; after a stay of one hour sailed for Nelson, arriving here as above.* The Wellington sailed for Picton ard Wellington this afternoon, and leaves the latter port on the return trip on Thursday afternoon. Some changes have taken place in the officers of theAnchorLineof Steam Packets. Mr Regnart, chief officer of the Charles Edward, was a passenger for England yesterday hy the Tararua, and his place will be filled by Mr David Barrow, late of the steamer Wellington. In the Mun ay, Mr Bruce, of the Wallace, has taken the place of Mr Edwards, the chief officer, who has resigned. Mr Miller, second officer of the Murray, has been appointed to the Wallace, while Mr Mark Ferneaux has occupied his place.
