The Arawata, with the Suez mail, arrived afc the Bluff this morning. The Maid of Otago will finish discharging her cargo this afternoon. The Murray left for Wellington this afternoon. The Kennedy leaves Hokitika for Greymouth this evening. The Wallace leaves for Wanganui afc 1 p.m. to-morrow. The Charles Edward will sail for the West Coast afc 8 o'clock to-morrow morning. The sailing of the Awaroa for Wanganui has been postponed until to-morrow at noon. We draw attention to an alteration in the time-table of tbe Lady Barkly, , which will be found in our advertising columns. The Taiaroa sailed for Taranaki and Manukau at 4 p.m. on Saturday, and arrived at the latter port this morning. The Wellington left Wellington at 1 p.m. to-day, will arrive here to-morrow morning, and sail for Picton and Wellington at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. The Uno arrived from Wellington early yesterday morning, having left that port on Tuesday last. Bad weather was the cause of the length of the passage. The "Uno will again load with timber for the Empire City. The schooner Richard and Mary is loading at Franzen's wharf with timber for Wellington. This timber, which is kauri, was brought here some ten months ago hy the brig Albion, which put in here in a leaking state. The timber was sold, and as it was then in square logs, was cut up, and will now be forwarded to the Wellington market. The Tararua arrived in harbor yesterday afternoon. She left Melbourne on the 15th instant, touched at Hobarton two days later, and reached the Bluff on Tuesday last. Called at Port Chalmers and Lyttelton, and reached Wellington on Saturday ; sailed early yesterday morning, and arrived here as above. Splendid weather was experienced throughout the passage. The Tararua sails for Melbourne via West Coast ports this afternoon.
