Already a long list of names hare been cnroll> d, and it is my desire that all who: have been cured ghoul i send me their addreES, not for publcation, but as a satisfaction to my own mind, and as a just tribute to the Oils. I think there cannot be any fear of being accused of exaggeration after reading the! testimonials published, ucd those row appearing, to say that in the experience of human knowledge there never has been an "agent offered to the public which has so easily , painlessly, and pleasantly cured to nmny people regarded by our noble Faculty of medicine as incurable ; and it cennot now be Slid that professional men bare been distancei by ordinary mcrtala. I glory in the fact that I belong, by birth end education to the professional class. I regret, however; that the commercial conditions of -things readers it necessary that I ihould adopt a system of action at variance wit'i professional etiquette for the sale of my good*. : It i«, however, a great satisfaction to me th*t the grandest cures which could be accomplished anywhere have been done in the very city and country where the dhcovery was made,' and I trust .that as people get accustomed to the use of the Scottish Oil, we shall see hundreds snd tbousands of suffering humanity rejoice again in the vig r and strength of rrgenerate I coastitutioni. Here follows the most extraordinary list of cures ever presented 10 the inhabitants of these colonies:— Fifteen Yfaes a Martyr to HeAdaohb. , July !i;iß77. Dear Sir, — It is impossible for any one to express his heartfelt gratitude for the relief I now er joy from a terrible affliction, under which 1 existed for years. I can hardly now think of it but with horror. Ic must be a great satisfaction for you to know that your Oils can so quickly and psinleaaly cure. I shall certainly feel bound to tell the good news to all my friends. — - James Goodwik. £60 Spent, but got No Relief. Testimonial. — Another testimonial respecting Pottie's Highland Oil has been received by the Agent, Mr C. L. Tweedie. It is as follows:— Sir, for many years I have suffered from rheumatism in the back; and some time ago it cost me over £00 to go to Sydney and have medical advice, without, however, receiving any relief. I determined to try a bottle of Highland Oil, for which you ore agent, and have noudi pleasure in stating, that after a few applications I was entirely relieved from all pain, and can eately recommend it to others suffering from a similar complaint to mine.— John Mddib, Bbmbals. Lumbago fob 26 Yeabs. K Rylstone, October 7 5 1876. To Messrs. White & MTulloeh, Rylstone. Gentlemen,— l have much pleasure in informing you, as Agents for Pottie's' Scottish Highland Oil, that the saidimedicine has been the means of curing me from lumbago, from which I have suffered for the past 26 years, being at times scarcely able to cravfl) owiDg to the severity of the complaint. I make this statement feeling convinced that the Oils (S.H.)will cure any one suffering in a like manner. I request that you will give publicity to the above, and remain yours very truly,— John McNeil Beaton. 102, Liverpool-street, Sydney. Dear Sir,— l was laid up for many long months in bed, and had tried all the doctors could: do for me, but got only worre. At last a man culled with a little of Scottish Oil. I was then in bed, suffering terrible agony, with m'y legs bent under me. I saw no hope for li f ej but the first bottle of your Oil brought relief, and I could crawl about, I stuck to the fomentation, Oils, and hot iron, and in two, months got the use of my limbs. I csn never expect to be perfectly well, for I am an eld man, but I owe all to the Scottish Highland Oil.— Abch M'Eldowkt. Newtown. Twenty-three years bad with a tumour on my neck, and tried no end of prescriptions, until I saw that an operation was my only chance. ' Fortunately I heard about the Scottish Oil, and by tubbing regularly, the tumour melted away without any kind of pain.— H. Chase, Newtown. From Sidney Freeman's Journal. MIRACULOUS.— A most miraculous cure has co>ne under my notice in Araluen. A miner in this locality named Doggan had 1 been complaining for years of a swelling on his breast; which defied the medical akill of the district. Dr Llewelyn, residing in Braidwood, after vainly experimenting with divers panaceas. &c, advieed the patient to go to the Sydney .Infirmary.. After some time he did as he was counselled, but what was the result? Why, after remaining in the hospital for about nine months under the treatment of the leading medicos, he was pronounced incurable. He returned to' Araluea worse in fact than when he went to Sydney, owing, I suppose to tbe vast quantities of medicine he had taken, coupled with the fatigue of such a long overland journey. Some months ago Mr Carry (Dr Llewellyn's servant) suggested to Mr Duggan to rub tbe swelling with' ''Pottie's Bighland Oil/ He did as was suggested, and wonderful was the result. The swelling came to a head in a short time, and burst, dischargirg a quantity of matter. In one of theee d scharges a bone came out, it being the sole cause of the swelling, as can be testified by the man, whose health has betn perfectly restored; He is now able to work as usual in the claim. - Ho4r, the nui lor your Sydney M.D.'s is, how bame the bone there? My principal reason for writing this, is to inform those gentlemen who attended Mr Duggan at the Infirmary of the mysterious result.— Araluen Correspondent. Manufactured by J. POTTIE, 2«3, Eliza-beth-street, Sydney. . i I [SOLE AQESTT FOR NELSON— LOUIS ROTfijEl^ i (Late C. Hablinq) ! TRAFALGAJI.SXBEET, 13^
