Nominations, with entrance uioufy, received up to Tuesday, 21st May; handicap declared Wednesday, 22ud May. 2. Hack Hukdle Race of 5 iovg ; i mile over four flights of hurdles. Entrance, 10s. Post entry. 3. Handicap Hurdle Race of 15 soys; about 1£ miles, over six flights of hurdles. Entrance, 1 soy. Eor all horses that hare never won an advertised race of 20 soys up to date of nomination. Nominations, with entrance money, received up to Tuesday, 21st May, weights to be declared immediately after the first race. 4. Novel Race of 5 soys ; about 1 mile. Entrance, 10s. Conditions: Each jockey to ride another's horse ; the last horse past the post to win the stake. The race must be run under 5 minutes, no curb or »pur to be used. Post entry. 5. Handicap District Plate of 20 soys ; about 1 h miles. Entrance, 1 soy. Conditions game as No. 3 ; horses to be owned by bona fide residents of the district. Handicaps declared as soon as possible after No 3 hurdle raca. Entries to be made up to May 21st. 6. Handicap Trotting Race, of 10 .soys , 2 miles. Entrance 15s. Nominations, with entrance enclosed, to be made on or before Tuesday, May 21 at, handicap to be declared May 22nd. 7. Pont Race,, of 5 soys; once round the course. Entrance, Ids. For all ponies under 14 hands. Post entry. RULES : GeHeral entries, Tuesday, 21st May, at 9 o'clock p.m. There must be three entries for each event or no prize will be given. All nominations must be made in writing, and sent in sealed covers, addressed to the Secretary, Nelson Hotel, Nelson, containing entrance money, description and age of horse and colors to be worn by jockeys. No entry will be received unless upon the distinct understanding that the decfsion of the Stewards, or whoever they may appoint, shall in all cases be final, and all law proceedings barred. ALEX.
