The Wellington arrived at Wellington at 9 o'clock this morning. The Rinparooma arrived at the Bluff last evening. She will reach here on Saturday. The barque Celestial Queen left Napier for Newcastle on Saturday week. The schooner Awaroa may be expected from Wangnnui to-morrow. The Lyttelton leaves Wellington for Blenheim to-night. The Murray is signalled as we go to press. She will leave again for Wellington at 7 o'clock this evening. The Charles Edward willleave Wellington to-night, arrive to-morrow, and sail for the Coast at l p.m. The Wallace sailed for Wanganui last evening, and arrived thereat 1 ISO a.m. today.

The Crest of the Wave sailed out of harbor at high water to-day, and took her departure for Hnrelock, where she will load timber for Lyttelton. The Taranaki left New Plymouth at 9 a m. to-day. She will arrive here to-night, and sail for Wellington and South to-morrow at II a.m.

After the Chaudiere has finished discharging the Nelson portion of her cargo, she will proceed to Wellington, where she will load for London.

Messrs Turnbull and Co, of Wellington, are having built at Home an iron barque of 400 tons register, which they intend to place in the China trade. She will be out here by the end of the year.

The Elizabeth Curl? was ballasted to-day at the Albion Wharf, and will probably get to sea this evening. Her destination is West Wanganui, where she will load with coal for Wellington, she having been chartered for that purpose.

The ship Dallam Tower was recently sent from Newcastle to San Francisco to convey a load of wheat home, and it la probable that the barque Celestial Queen, which by this time ought to be in Newcastle, will, be despatched to the same port for the same purpose. In the event of the outbreak of war the profits to shippera will be enormous.

The Wellington agents for Messrs McMeckan, Black wood, and Co.'s steamers bare received advice that a new time-table i lias been arranged for that lice. In future a steamer for Melbourne, via the South, will leave Wellington at noon every .Sunday. This rule will only be departed from in the case of the mail boat Arawata, which for six months' in the year will start on Pridays.
