It is refreshing to find Ladiea and Gentlemen who, in gratitude for the relief brought them, either go to the trouble and expense of publishing tho fact, or writing to their friends, telling them about the SCOTTISH HIGHLAND OIL, or. in the spirit of true gratitude, visit the afflicted, and show them how thei* agonies may be r.ppcascd and their sufferings alleviated. Already a long list of names have been enrolled, and it is my desire that all who have been cured should send me their address, not for publication, but as a satisfaction to my own mind, and as a juet tribute to the Oils. I think there cannot be any fear of being accused of exaggeration after reading the testimonials published, and thoße.novr appearing, to say that in the experience of human knowledge there never has been an agent offered to the public which has so eabiiy, painlessly, and pleasantly cured so many people regarded by our noble Faculty of medicine as incurable ; and it ctinnot now be Siid that professional men have been distnneei by ordinary mortals. I glory in tbe fact that I belong, by birth and education to the professional class. I regret, however, that the commercial conditions of things readers it neceasary that I should adopt a system of action at variance with professional etiquette for the sale of my goods. 1c U, however, a great satisfaction to me that the grandest cures which could be accomplished anywhere have been done in the very city and country where the discovery was made, and I trust that as people get accustomed to the use of the Scottish Oil, we shall see hundreds snd thousands of suffering humanity rejoice again in tne Tig«.r and strength of regenerate! constitntions. Here follows the most extraordiravy list of cures ever presented to the inhabitants oi these colonies: — Fifteen Years a Martte to Headache. July 11, 1877. Dear Sir, — It is impossible for any ot:e to express his heartfelt gratitude for the relief I now enjoy Jrnm a terrible affliction, under which I existed for years I can hardly now think of it but with horror. Ie muat be a great satisfaction for you to know that your Oils can so quickly and painlessly cure. ■ I shall certainly feel bound to tell the good news to oil my friends. — — James Goodwin. £60 Spent, bdt got No Relief. TfSTiMONrAL. — Another tesiimouial respecting Potties Highland oil ba3 been received by the Agent, Mr C. L. Tweedie. It is as follows: — Sir, for many years I have suffered from rheumatism in the back; and some time ago it cost mo over £60 to go to Sydney and have medicul advice, without, however, receiving any relief. I determined to try a bottle of Highland Oil, for which you »re agent, and have mudi pleasure in stating that after a few applications I wai entirely relieved from all pain, and. can safely recommend it to others suffering from a similar complaint to mine.— John Modie, Bombala. Lumbago for 26 Years. I Rylßtone, October 7, 1876. \ To Messrs. White & M'^ullouh, Rylstone. Gentlemen,— l have much pleasure in informing you, as Agents for Potties Scottish Highland oil, that the said medicine has been the means of curing me from lumbago, from which I have suffered for the past 26 year?, being at times scarcely able to crawl, owing to the severity of the complaint. I make this statement feeling convinced fhofc the Oils fS.H.) will cure any one suffering in a like nwraEr. I request that you will give publicity to the above, and remain yours very truly, — John McNeil Beaton. 102, Liverpool-street, Sydney. Dear Fir, — I was Inid up for many long months in bed and bad tried all the doctor* could do for me, but got only wo'rfe. At l»st a man called with a little of "Scotti-h Oil. I was then in bed, suffering terrible agony, with my legs beut under me. l l saw no hope for life; hut the first" bottle of your Oil brought relief, «nd I could crawl about. I stuck to the fomentation, Oils?, arid hot iron, and in two months got the use of my limbs. I eon never expect to be perfectly well, for I am au eld man, but I owe all to the Scottish Highland Oi!.~-ARCH M'Eldownt. «' .. Newtown, Twenty-three years bad with a tumour on my neck, and tried- no end of prescriptions, until I saw that an operation was. my only chance. Fortunately I heard about the Scottish Oil, and by rubbing regularly, the tumour melted- away, without aiiy" kind of pain.— H. Chase, Newtown. ; From Stdnet Freeman's Journal. MIRACULOUS.-^- A most miraculous cure has come under my notice in Araluen. A miner in this locality named Duggan had been complaining for" years of a swelling on his breast, which defied the medical skill of the district. Dr Llewelyn, residing in Braidwood, after vainly experimenting with divers panaceas, &c., advised the patient to goto the Sydney Infirmary After some time he did as he was counselled, but what was tbe result ? Why, after remaining in the hospital for about nine months under the treatment, of the leading medicos, he was .pronounced incurable. He returned to Araluen worse in fact than when he went to Sydney, owing, I suppose to the vast quantities of medicine he had taken, coupled with the fatigue of such a long overland journey. Borne .months ago Mr Curry (Dr Llewellyn's servant) suggested to Mr Duggan to rub the swelling with "Potties Highland Oil.' He did as was suggested, and wonderful was the result. The swelling came to a head in a short tinie, and burst, discharging a quantity of matter. In one of these discharges a bone came out, it being the fso!e cause oi the swelling, ! as can be testified by the man, whose health ha 3 been perfectly restored. He is now able ; to work as usual in the claim. Now, the nut lor your Sydney ai.D.'s is, how came the bone there? My principal reason for writing this, is to inform those gentlemen who attended ;Mr Duggan at the lufirmary of the mysterious result.— Araluen Corresponden t. Manufactured by J. POTTIB, 263, Eliza-beth-street, Sydney. i SOLE AGENT FOR ; LOUIS ROTHER, • (Late C. Harung) : ] TSAFALGAR-STJBEEIY 1396
