We have subjected a sample of the abovenamed article to a very care.ul chemical analysis and examination The results of the nnalysis, which are set forth in a eeparate report show that this spirit is of good strength, rjactically free from acidity, and th.it it contains but trcces of solid matter in folulion. It possesses a delicate and ngreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Hart's Schiedam fSchnapps is a very superior article of its class, is well purified, actl is quite cenuine. Sir,— l have the honor to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forward d by you to me bas been submitted to a searching chemfcal analysis and critical examination, the mult of which enables me to state that it is the Finest Sample of Schnapps that as yet come nnder my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, find is absolutely free from any tracs of fu'il or other injurious impurity, and bas evidently been distilled from superior rye gnin, ol ways used instead of malt in the production of the choicest qualitits of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in this reapect compart s favourably with other samples offered for gale. It may be advised bs equally suitable for medical or economic purpesee.
