[Special.] London, April 20. The money market is easier, and the Bank reserve lower. The stock market is agitated owing to the despatch of Indian troops to Malta. Consols, 95. The market for Colonial Government debentures is steady. The Colonial wool sales are fixed to commence on the 14th of May. The Importers' Committee have limited the number of bales to 300,000 new arrivals. Pending the sales the wool market is quiet. Wheat is unchanged. April 21. The new Turkish Ministry is neutral as regards England and Russia. Bandman, the actor, has been committed for trial for striking his mistress. Rowdy mass meetings are being held in Lancashire for the purpose of advising the strikers to hold out. April 22. The meeting of Congress is doubtful. It is reported at Berlin that Russia declines to submit. The Russian regiments received the order to embark with great enthusiasm. Encounters have taken place between Russians and Roumanians. Beauclerc, the favorite for the Two Thousand Guineas and Derby has been scratched.

London, April 23. The position ox affairs is unimproved. Austria vacillates. The essential differences between England and Russia remain unsettled. St. Petebsbuegh, April 22. _It is semi- officially stated here that negotiations are on foot for fixing the point whether the British ironclads and Russian troops are to be withdrawn.
