The Awaroa will sail for Wanganui tomorrow afternoon. The Lady Barkly sailed for Golden Bay this morning. The Nelson will probably load at Lyttelton for Nelson. She leaves there again this evening, will arrive here to-morrow afternoon, and sail for Pieton and Wellington on Saturday. The Albion is expected to arrive here this evening. She sails for Wellington, South, and Melbourne at 2 p.m. to-morrow. The steam launch Tainui proved herself very useful to-day in towing into harbor the Woodbine. The tiny steamer did her work well, keeping the barque going at a fair speed tbe whole time, though of course having a difficult job to turn her round. The Woodbine was towed into harbor by the Tainui this afternoon, and berthed along-, side the Government Wharf. She left Newcastle on the 6th inst., and experienced easterly winds for the first six days, then had two days calm, after which light N.E. winds set in, and continued for the remainder of the passage. On the 14th the Woodbine was in close proximity to Lord Howe's Island, and yesterday morning at 5 o'clock the Spit Lighthouse was seen. Sighted the brig Firefly on the 14thinstant steering wesiward, and two days later sighted a barque.
