Mr Rutherford, of the Hope flour mill quotes flour at £13 10s per ton. ' fti Mr John R. Mabin reports that at bis sale yesterday, of Mr Arthur Hassel's furniture, &c, at bis residence, Auckland Point, Havenxoad, the attendance was large, but the competition was not so good as expected. The following is a list of the prices obtained for some of the principal articles:—Piano by Bord, £29; drawing room suite, £21; hafl table and two chairs, £3 10s; sewing machine, £3; plated rotary cruet, 30s; side-board, £5 ss; dining-table, £3 10s: horsehair couch, £3 17s 6d; harmonium, £4 10s; pier glass, £1 108; whatnot, £2 15s; carpet, £3 ss; double iron bedstead, £2 ss; palliasse, 2ls; fcair mattrass,. £3 10s; feather pillows, 4s each; chest draws, £4 ss; marble top washstand, £1 8s; white and gold toilet set, 21s; ■ No. 8 Traiford range, £2; dinner service, 355; and all other household effects at proportionate price 3.
