The Tararua will be due at the Bluff from Melbourne and Hobarton to-morrow. The Wallace left for Wellington viaNydia Bay in the Pelorus Sound at uoon to-day. The Charles Edward left Hokitika for Nelson via intermediate ports thi3 morning. The Lyttelton leaves Wellington for Nelson via hlenheim (his evening. The Lady Barkly leaves ou her usual weekly trip this evening at 10 o'clock. The Taranaki arrived at Onehunga this morning The Albion arrived at Hokitika yesterday. She will probably reach here to morrow morning, although no notice of her sailing from Westport had been posted up on the Telegraph board when we went to press. The Celestial Queen hauled alongside the Albiou Wharf this morning, and commenced ballasting. The Kennedy sailed for the Coast yesterday afternoon, arrived at Westport today, and will sail for Hokitika iu the evening. The Wellington left Wellington this afternoon, will arrive here to morrow morning, and sail for Picton and Wellington by the same tide at noon. The ketch Ocean Bird was to leave Lyttelton for Wanganui on Saturday evening. She was detained at the former Port in consequence of having to be supplied with some fresh sails, the old ones having been blown nway in a squall which was experienced on the passage down. The winter service of the Suez mail commencing this month, on which occasion the P. and O. steamer leave Melbourne with the outward mail on Tuesday, the Arawata will leave Melbourne for New Zealand ports today, and will therefore arrive here two days earlier than she has done during the summer months. The Arawata will probably bring down the Suez mail. Mersrs M'Meckan, Blackwood & Co.'s s.s. Alhambra, Captain Muir, arrived in harbor yesterday at 11 a.m. She left Sandridge Railway Pier on March 13th at 5 p.m., cleared lort Phillip Heads the same night, and passed Swan Island on the following day; sighted the Solander on the 18th, and arrived at the Bluff on the 19th at 6 a.m • left same day at 5.15 pm., and arrived at'Port Chalmers at 6.30 a.m. on the 20th; sailed at 1.30 p.m. on the 21st, and reached Lytlelton at 8.30 a.m. on the 22nd; left at 5.30 p m same day, and arrived at Wellington at 10 a.m. on the 23rd; sailed at 11.15 p,m., came through the French Pass, and arrived here as above. Experienced strong variable winds ■with very heavy sea from Melbourne to the Bluff, thence light variable winds with fine weather up the New Zealand coast. The Alhambra sailed for Melbourne via West Coast ports at 11.30 a.m. to-day. The s.s. Murray, Captain Conway, arrived in harbor this morning at 8 o'clock, from West Coast port3. She left Nelson at 6.30 a.m. on the 15th inst., carrying the West Coast portion of the San Francisco mail, and arrived off Westport at 2.30 a.m. on the 16th and crossed the bar at 7.30 a.m.; left by the same tide at 9.30 for Greymouth, arriving off the bar there at 4 p.m., and crossed. at 5.30 p.m.; was detained there until Wednesday, the 20th, at 10 a.m.,in consequences of heavy gale and freshet in the river, when she left for Hokifcika, arriving there at 1 p.m. same 'day; Bailed for Greymouth at l© a.m. on.

The Murray brings the race horses brrey Momus and Morning Star f;.om Greyruouth, also two large retorts from Hokitika to the Gasworks here. She returns to the West Coast at 4 p.m. on Thursday.
