Testimonial. — Another testimonial respecting Pottie's Highland Oil has been received by the Agent, Mr G. L. Tweedie. It is as follows: — Sir, for many years I havo suffered from rheuruatisui in the back; and some time ago ifc cost me over £60 to go to Sydney and have medical advice, without. however, receiving any relief. I determined to try a bottle of Highland Oil, for which you are agent, and have much pleasure in stating that after a few applications I was entirely relieved from all pain, and can saiely recommend it to others suffering from a similar complaint to mine.— John Mudie, Bombah. Lumbago for 26 Years. Rylstone, October 7, 1876. To Messrs. White & MVulloeh, Kylstono. Gentlemen, — I have much pleasure in informing you, as Agents for Pottie's Scottish Highland Oil, that the said medicine has been , the means of curing me from lumbago, from which I have suffered for the p*st 26 years, being at times scarcely able to crawl, owing to "he severity of the complaint. I make this statement feeling convinced that the Oils (S.H) will cure any one suffering in a like manner. I request that you will give publicity to the above, and remaiu yours very truly, — John McNeil Beaton. 102, Liverpool-gtreet, Sydney. Dear Pir,— l was hid up for many long months in bed and hal tried all the doctor-, could do for me, but got only wor>e. At last a man called with a little of Scottish Oil. I was Iben in bed, suffering terrible agony, with my legs bent under me. I shw no hnpe for life; but tha firai bottle of your Oil brought relief, and I could crawl abouc. I stuck to the fomtntation, Oils, and hot iron, and in two months got the use of my limbs. I csn nevtr expect to be perfectly well, for I am aa eld man, but I owe all to the Scottish Highland Oil.— Auch M'Kldowny. Newtown. Twenty-three years bad with a tumour on my neck, and trkd no end of prescriptions, until I saw that an operation wa3 my only chance. Fortunately I heard about the Scottish Oil, and by rubbing regularly, the tumour melted away without auy kind of pain.—H. Chase, Newtown. Fsom Sydney Feeeman's Journal. MIRACULOUS. — A most miraculous cure has come under my notice in Araluen. A miner in this locality named Duggan had been complaining for yenrs of a swelling on hiß breast, which defied the meiical skill of the district. Dr Llewelyn, residing in Braidwood, alter vaiuly experimenting with divers panaceas, &c, advised the patient to goto the Sydney Infirmary. After some time he did as he was counselled, but what was the result ? Why, after remaining in the hospital for about nine months under the treatment of the leading medico3, he was pronounced incurable. He returned to Aralueu worse in ! fact than when he went to Sydney, owing, I suppose to the vast quantities of medicine ho had taken, coupled with the fatigue of such a long overland journey. Some months ago Mr Curry (Dr Llewellyn's servant) sucgested to Mr Duggan to rub tbe swelling with "Pottie's Highland Oil.' He did as was suggested, and wonderful was the result. The swelling came to a h?ad in a short time, and lurst, discharging a quantity of matter. In one of these d scharges a bone eama out, it being the 6o!e cause ol the swelling, as can be testified by the man, whose health has been perfectly restored. He is now able to work as U6ual in the claim. Now, the nut for your Sydney M.D.'s is, how came the bone there? My principal reason for writing this, is to inform those gentlemen who attended Mr Duggan at the Infirmary of the mysterious result.— Araluen Correspondent.
