WANGANUI RACES.
Wanganui, Saturday. On the second day the attendance was much larger, the weather being flnev. Handicap Hurdle Kace of 70 sots ; 2i miles— Gazelle I, Bully-for-you 2, Te Whetu 3. Several tumbles occurred, but no injury was done.
Jockey Club Handicap of 250 son ; 2± miles— Resolution 1 , Foam 2, Queen of the Vale 3. Wou only by a neck after & hard struggle. Time, 4 ruins 16£ sees. Maiden Plate of 53 boys ; 1£ mile3— Won by Skyblue.
