Mr Mabin reports that at his sale at the Quarterly Fair, on the Richmond Fair Ground yesterday, the attendance was better than expected, but the quality of stock was below that usually found there on such occasions. Fat sheep' brought 10s; store sheep, of mixed sexes and ages, 3s 6d; two and four tooth ewes, 6s ; cows in milk, £6 to £6 6s. There were a large number of horses for disposal, but as this class of stock is rather a drug in the market, only a few were sold. Mr Mabin purposes holding another sale at Richmond shortly.
