MAGISTRATES' COURT.

[Before A. Greenfield, Esq., J.P.] Henry Brooks, who is only out of gaol about six weeks, was charged with stealing a horse belonging to Isaac Harvey, of Happy Valley, valuedflt jtijO. Mr Bunny appeared for the prisoner, who was remanded until Thursday at 10 ».m. Bail was allowed, the prisoner in £100, and two sureties of £50 each. Sureties not being forthcoming, prisoner was kept in confinement. P. B, Joseph was charged with indecently assaulting Agnes Maud Dobbie, aged 12J years, on or about the 80th Nov. last. Mr Bunny appeared for the prisoner who was remanded until Thursday next at 10 a.m. Bail was allowed, the prisoner in £100, and two sureties of £50 each. Meßsrs W. H. West and J. Hounsell became sureties.
