The Customs receipts for the week ending this day amounted to £592 ISs lOd. The Lady Barkiy made a trip to Motueka and back to-day. The Wallace arrived at Wanganui to-day, and leaves again for Nelson at midnight tonight. The Lyttelton leaves Blenheim this afternoon, will arrive to-morrow, and return to the same port on Tuesday evening. The Kennedy will leave Westport to-night, arrive to-morrow evening, and sail for Wellington direct on Monday evening at seven o'clock. The Alhambra leaves Wellington this evening, will arrive here to-morrow, and sail for Melbourne via Westport, Greymouth, and Hokitika on Monday at noon. /The Taiaroa sailed for Picton and Wellington shortly after noon to-day. She leaves Wellington on Monday evening, will arrive here on Tuesday about midday, and sail for Picton and Wellington by the same tide. The Murray left Westport last night, and arrived at Greymouth at noon to-day; left again for Hokitika, arriving there this afternoon, having delivered the West Coast portion of the San Francisco mail in 50 hours from her departure from Nelson. The rigging of the ketch Ocean Bird is being proceeded with vigorously, and it is expected that in another fortnight the vessel will he ready for sea. She will be placed under the charge of Captain Moore, late of the Bchooner Richard and Mary. We are glad to be able to announce the safe arrival of Mr Franzen's schooner Richard and Mary at Lyttelton, some anxiety haviug been felt here regarding her safety, sha having been at sea some time without being heard of. It appears, according to our telegrams, that she had to seek shelter in Port Underwood on three different occasions. The p.s. Charles Edward arrived alongside the Albion Wharf at 10 o'clock this morning, having left Nelson on the 2lst inst., at 8.30 p.m., experienced light S.W. weather to Jackson's Head, from thence variable to Wellington, arriving there at 10.30 am. on the 22nd; left again at 9.30 p.m. same day, with fine weather, arriving here as above. She leaves again for West Coast ports on Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock. The Union Company's s.s. Taranaki, Captain Malcolm, arrived in harbor shortly after 10 a.m. to-day. She left Port Chalmers on Feb. 20, at 2 p.m., experienced light N.E. winds to Banks' Peninsula, thence fresh S.W. winds with thick weather which prevailed until arrival at Lyttelton at 9.30 a.m. on the 2l8t; sailed at 6 p.m. same day, and reached Wellington at 11.30 a.m. yesterday; left at 11 p.m., and arrived here as above. The Taranaki brings a number of passengers and a large cargo for this port. She sailed for Taranaki and Manukau at 2 p.m.
