THE Extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus, manufactured solely by Messrs. Sandkr and Sons, Sandhurst, recommends itself by tbe following declaration and testimonials:— Epitome of declaration made before Moritz Cohn, J P., on the 17th October, 1877, at Sandhurst :— -Three meiical gentlemen had attended the son of Mr Raabe, of Ironbark, for nine weeks, and declared that amputation of the leg injured by an axe was absolutely necessary. At this j uncture Mr Raabe called on Messrs Sander and Sons, procuring some of their Extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus, and by the application of the same he had the Bttisfaction of seeing his son within a fortnight out of all danger, and he has now quite recovered. Sandhurst, 2nd October, 1877. I certify that I have used Mr Sauder's Extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus in all affections of the throat, inflammation, bronchitis, rheumatic swellings, inflammation of the breastß alter confinement, toothache, and diarrhoea, and can strongly recommend ifc in all cases as stated above. Mr Gieschin, residing near Sydenham Gardens, had a very severe cold in November, could scarcely breathe, aud cosld get no relief. Cured after three applications of Extract. The same gentleman suffered eight years from rupture, and all medical skill proved ineffectual in giving relief. Cured after taking Extract internally for six months. Mr D. Obermann, residing near the Sandhurst Gasworks, suffering Irom wounds for six months, was cured by the use of the Extract within four weeks. A man having his arm bruised severely at j a crushing machine, in Loag Gully, applied I the Extract, and the accident did not even necessitate as much as an interruption in his attendance at work. Mrs Weppner, in Colbinabbia (Runny - mede), informed the Manufacturers that the Extract applied twice restored health to her daughter, eleven years of age, who had been rushed and trampled upon by a cow. In November Mr Reeve 3, from the Rifleman's Arms, Back Creek, brought information of a cure ol delirium caused by a sunstroke, whfch took place in the family of Mr Ryan, butcher, of Back Creek. The wife of Mr Fickel suffered in the bend of the knee from a swelling whuh had formed a lump of considerable size, disabling her from attendit g to any work. She removed the swelling completely by a continued application of the Extract. The Donald Timet of Ist Dccsmber, 1877, st tes:— Last week th 3 eldest boy of Mr Morgan awoke in the night crying with earache. 'Ihe Extract was applieJ, and the little fellow was cured and asleep in ten minutes. Mr French, of Corack Station, suffered from bad earache and pains in the head. Two drops cf the Kxtract wero put in the ear, nnd some rubbed round the tar, and the pain instantly disappeared. Mr Croker, of Mmnt Jfffcott, was laid up for nearly a fortnight with infl*mmation of the eye?, and was in gteat agony. The Extract was used, an 1 in a lew days the inflamI mation disappeared. [ The Evening -.Times has reported curea of neuralgia, by the use of the Extract, at Geelong. i The Extract, which is of a brilliant yellow gold-color, and need not be confounded with the turpentine-like preparation of the gum that is to bo fou'id in the trade, has been applied, with mmkel beneficial effect to revere bruises, sprains, all sorts of wounds, cuts, scnldingH. and its chief prop2rty— namely to check all inflammation — accounts for the cures referred to. An eg.ur.lly important quality of the Extract is its efficacy as a disinfectant.
