Edwards & Co; 23 cases, Phillips. " The Lyttelton left Blenheim for Wellington this afternoon. The Murray will leave Ilokitika to-morrow for Nelson via intermediate ports. The Kennedy left Westport for Nelson this morning, will arrive to-morrow, and sail for Wellington on Saturday. The Wallace sailed for the West Coast this morning. The Lady Barkly returned from Golden Bay this afternoon. She leaves for Motueka on an excursion trip at 6 p.m., returning here to-morrow morning. The Tararua will arrive here on Tuesday next, and is advertised to sail for Melbourne Tia the West Coast at 10 a.m. the same day. A splendid opportunity of visiting the Empire City during the racing season will be afforded by the steamer Wellington, which is advertised to make an excursion trip to Wellington, leaving here on Wednesday next, and returning ou the following Saturday. The Southern Cross sailed for the French Pass last evening with a cargo of live stock. The Dauntless sailed for West Wanganui last evening with a fine south-east wind, which would probably carry her round the Spit. The Luna came into harbor this morning afc 4-30 from Lyttelfcon, which port she left on Tuesday at 630 p.m She made a fair run up considering that she had a south-east wind to contend with, and came rouud the Island. The Luna has on board a number of sheep for Westport, for which port she sailed this aftrnoon, The Wellington came into harbor this aioruing at 6 3d, having left Wellington yesterday afternoon and Picton in the evening. Experienced a south-east wind in the Straits. After landing her passengers the Wellington proceeded to Haul-ashore Island, where she was placed on the hard for the purpose of being cleaned. • She will be taken off this evening, and sail for Picton and Wellington at 7 o'clock, returning here on Sunday morning, aud leaving for Picton and Wellington on Monday. The Union Company's s.s. Taranaki, Capt. Malcolm, arrived in harbor this morcing at 630. She left Onehunga at 430 p.m. on Tuesday, and arrived off New Plymouth at 6 a.m. yesterday; disembarked and embarked passengers and lauded mails and cargo, proceeding on to Nelson at 1 p.m., and arriving off the Lighthouse at 4-30 ' am. to-day. Experienced a strong S.E. wind with heavy head sea during the passage across the Straits. The Taranaki sails for Wellington aud South at 7 p.m.
