The Lady Barkly is due here from Golden Bay this evening. The Wellington arrived at Wellington from Picton at six o'clock this morning. The Murray leaves Wanganui for Nelson via Wellington to-day. The Lyttelton arrived from Blenheim this morning. She wiil sail for that port via Havelock to-morrow. The Kennedy arrived from Wellington this morning, and sails for West Coasi ports to-morrow at 3 o'clock, carrying the San Francisco mail. The Alhambra leaves Wellington to-mor-row, will arrive here on Sunday, and sail for Melbourne via Westport, Greymouth, and Hokitika on Monday at 2 p.m. The New Zealand Shipping Company's ship Mataura, Captain Brown, hauled' from the wharf at Wellington yesterday, and will sail for London to-morrow. The Taranaki leaves Wellington for Nelson direct at three o'clock this afternoon. She will probably catch the morning's tide, and sail for Taranaki and Manukau at two p.m. Captain M'Gee, of the Wellington, was yesterday presented with a flattering testimonial for the courtesy and attention shown to the excursionists who travelled with him to Wellington and back. The Luna arrived from West Coast ports at twelve o'clock last evening. She le^fc Greymouth at 1 p.m. on Wednesday for Westport, arriving there at 11 p.m. same day; sailed at 1 a.m. yesterday, aud arrived here as above. Splendid weather was experienced throughout. The Luna was detained at Greymouth three days in consequence of a heavy fresh in the river. She sailed for Wellington this morning. We are glad to learn that the ketch Ocean Bird, which for some time time past has been lying high and dry near the Commercial Wharf, is again to be put into commission. A number of shipwrights are busily engaged in caulking her. That such a handy little vessel should have been laid up so long is to he regretted, and we hope soon to see the vessel once more in her natural element. The p.s. Wallace arrived from West Coast ports this morning at 10 o'clock. She left Nelson on Friday, the 18th inst., at 9.30 a.m., experienced a very strong sou-wester and heavy sea on the passage down, arriving at Westport at 2.30 p.m. on Saturday; left for Hokitika at 10 o'clock same night, and cossed the bar there on Sunday morning at ten; sailed foe Greymouth at 9 a.m. on Monday, and arrived alongside the wharf there at 11.30 a.m. same tide; sailed for Westport at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, had fine weather, arriving at 10 p.m.; left for Nelson at noon yesterday, experienced light easterly winds ands-nooth sea on the trip up, arriving here as above. She sails for Wellington to-mor-row evening at 8 o'clock.
