London, January 11. •Despatches from Asia state that the Russians have cut off the Turkish communications between Erzerouin and Trebizond. January 12, The Grand Duke Nicholas has replied to Raouf Pasha that all negotiations must be direct with him, and that an armistice is impossible without the basis of peace conditions being first settled. Nissa, a fortified town to the south-west of Widdin, has capitulated. The Russian troops have arrived ot Yeni Saghra and Barodjik, two positions at the south of the Balkans. The civilian population has been ordered to leave Adrianople. A new Turkish Ministry has been formed with Hamed Pasha as Grand Vizier, and Sefiet Pasha as Minister of Foreign Affairs. New Zealand 4J per cents, 105 ; wheat quiet, Adelaide, 698 to 71s ; flour, 47s to 495. (Special.) London, January 11. Sulieman Pasha has been recalled to Stamboul. The Turks defeated the Montenegrins at Dhuzza. The Porte has notified to the Grand Duke Nicholas its desire for an armistice. The Duke replied that he would refer the question to St. Petersburg. The French Ministry have superseded several generals. This action, it is believed, has reference to an intended coup d'etat.
