London, Jan. 3. Earl Oaruarvon, in speaking to a deputation of Cape Colonists, s;ud that England was unprepared to tjolster up Turkish interests purely as such. England had not offered mediation as was supposed by actual overtures of peace. The Turks hold Sophia. The Hussians have advanced between Iktimaa defile and Sophia, cutting off the retreat to Adrianople. The Turks propose an armistice on the basis of each party retaining whatever territory it has gained. It is reported that the Feuian prisouers will shortly be released.
