PURE VOLATILE EXTKACT OF THB EUGALYPTUS_GLOBULUS. THE Extract of the Eucalyptus Globu'ua, manufactured solely by Messrs. Sander and Sons, Sandhurst, recommends itself by the following declaration and testimonials:— Epitome of declaration made before Moritz Cohn, J P., on the 17th October, 1877, at Sandhurst :— Thrte raeiical gentlemen had attended the son of Mr Rawbe, of Ironbark, for nine weeks, and declared that amputation of the leg injured by ah axe was absolutely necessary. At this j uncture Mr Raabe called on Messrs Sander and Sous, procuring some of their Extract of tho Eucalyptus Globulus, and by the application ol the same he had the satisfaction of seeing his son within a fortnight out of all danger, aud he hns now quite recovered. Sandhurst, 2nd October, 1877. I certify that I have vied Mr Sander's Extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus in all affections of the throat, inflamnmion, bronchitis, rheumatic "swellings, inflammation of the breasts after confinement, toothache, and diarrhcea, and can etrongly recommend it in all cases as stated above. Mr Gieschin, residing near Sydenham Gardens, had a very severe cold 'in November, could scarcely breathe, and could get no relief. Cured after three applications of Extract. The same gentleman Fuffered eight yeara from rupture, and all meiiical skill proved ineffectual in giving relief. Cured nfter taking Extract internally for six months. c Mr D. Obermaan, residing near the Sandhurst Gasworks, Buffering trom wounds for six monihs. was curtd by tho use of the Extract within four weeks. A mau having his arm bruised severely at a crushing machine, in Long Gully, applied the Extract, and the accident did not even necessitate as much as an interruption in his attendance at work. Mrs Weppner, in Colbinabbh (Ruonymede), informed the Manufacturers that the Extract applied twice restored health to her daughter, eleven years of age, who bad been rushed and trampled upon by a cow. In November Mr lieeves. from the Rifleman's Arms, Back CreeK, brought information of a cure of delirium caused by a sunstroke, which took placa in the family of Mr Ryan, butcher, of Rack. Creek. The wife of Mr Fickel suffered in the bend of the knee from a swelling which had formed a lump of considerable size, disabling her from attendicg to any work. She removed the swelling completely by a continued application of the Extract. The Donald Times of Ist December, 1877, states:— Last week tha eldest boy of Mr Morgan awoke in the nigbt crying with earache. The Extract was appliei, and the little fellow was cured and asleep ia ten minutea. Mr French, of Corack Station, suffered from bad earache and pains in the head. Two drops cf the Extract were put in the ear, and some rubbed round the tar, and the pain instantly disappeared. Mr Croker, of Mount Jeffeott. was laid up for nearly a fortnight with inflimmation of the eyes, and was in gteat agony. The Extract was used, and in a few diys the inflammation disappeared. The Evening Times has reported cures of neuralgia, by the use of the Extract, at Geelong. The Extract, which is of a brilliant yellow gold-color, and need not be confoun-ted with tbe turpentine-like preparation of the gum that is to be found in the trade, has been applied, with market beneficial effect to severe bruises, sprains, all sort* of wounds, cuts, scaldings. and its chief property— namely to check all inflammation; — accounts for the cures referred to. An equally important quality of the Extract is its efficacy as a disinfectant.
