PURE VOLATILE EXTEACT OP THE EUCALYPTUSJfLOBULUS. v THE Extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus, manufactured solely by. Messrs. Sanber and Sons, Sandhurst, recommends itself by the following declaration and testimonials': — Epitome of declaration made before Moritz Cohn, Jl\, on the 17th October, 1877, at Sandhurst : — Three -medical gentlemen had attended the son of Mr Raabe, of Ironbark, for nine weeks, and declared that amputation of the leg injured by an axe was absolutely necessary. At this juncture Mr Raabe called on Messrs Sander and Sods, proouring some of their Extract of /the Eucalyptus Globulus, and by the application of the same he had the satisfaction of seeing his son within a fortnight out of ell danger, and be has. now quite recovered. Sandhurst, 2nd October, 1877. I certify that I have used Mr Sander's Extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus in all affections of the throat, inflammation, bronchitis, rheumatic swelliugs, inflammation of the breasts alter confinement, toothache, and diarrhcßJ,, and can strongly recommend it in all cases as stated above, higaed John CittriKSHANK. Mr Gieschin, residing near Sydenham Gardens, had a very severe cold in November,' could scarcely breathe, and could get no relief. Cured after three applications of Extract. The same gentleman suffered eight years from rupture, and all medical skill proved ineffectual in giving relief. Cured after taking Extract internally for six months. Mr D. Obermann, residing near the Sandhurst Gasworks, suffering Irom wouniß for six months, was cured by the we of the Extract within four weeks. A man having his arm bruised severely at a crushing machine, in Long Gully, applied the Extract, and the accident did not even, necessitate as much as an interruption in his attendance at work. Mrs Weppner, in Colbinabbin (Runnymede), informed the Manufacturers that the Extract applied twice restored health to her daughter, eleven years of oge, who bad been rushed and trampied upon by a cow. In November Mr lieeves, from the Rifleman's Arms, Back Creeir, brought information of a cure of delirium caused by a sunstroke, which took placs in the family of Mr Kyan, butcher, of Back Creek. The wife of Mr^Fickel suffered in the bend of the knee from a swelling which had formed a lump of considerable size, disabling her from attending to any work. She removed the swelling completely by a continued application of the Extract. The Donald Times of Ist December, 1877, states:— Last weak thd elieat boy of Mr Morgan awoke in the night crying with earache. The Extract was appliel, and the little fellow was cured and asleep in ten minutes. Mr French, of Corack Station, suffered from bad earache and pains in the head. Two drops of the Extract were put in the ear, and some rubbed round the tar, and the pain instantly disappeared. . Mr Croker, of Mount Jeffeott. was laid up for nearly a fortnight with inflammation of the eyee, and was in gteat agony. The Extract was nsed, nni in a few days the inflammation disappeared. Tl\e Evening Times has reported cures of neuralgia, by the use of the Extract, at Geelong. "The Extract, which is of a brilliant yellow gold-color, and need not be confounded with the turpentine-like preparation of the gum that is to be found in the trade, has been applied, with marked beneficial effect to severe bruises, sprains, all sorts of wounds, cuts, scaldings. and its chief property— namely to check all inflammation^ — accounts for the cures referred to.
