"For life is not to live— bat to live well." POTTIES SCOTTISH HIGHLAND OIL: THE GREATEST AND CHEAPEST CDRE FOR Gout, Sunstroke Lumbago, Sunburns Neuralgia, Heactac_.es Stiff Joints, Rheumatism And all Skin Diseases, Price 2/6, 3/6, and 5/ Bottle. The beat is the family Bottle, which contains nearly three times a* m.eh as ths 2/6 bottle. Sold by all respectable Chemists and Storekeepers throughout the Colonies. It is refreshing to Qnd Ladies and Gentlemen who, in gratitude for the relief brought them, either go to the trouble and expense of publishing the fact, or writing to thdr friends, tediog them about the SCOTTISd HIGHLAND OIL, or. in the spirit of true gratitude, visit the afflicted, and show them how their agonies may be appeased and their saffit-rings alleviated. Already a long list of names have been enrolltd, and it is my desire that all who have been cured should send me their address, not for publication, but aa a satisfaction to my own mind, and as a just tribute to the Oils. I think there cannot be any fear of being accused of exaggeration after reading th. testimonials pub!ished, aud those now appearing, to say that in the experience of human kuowledge there never has been an agent offered to the public which has so easily, painlessly, and pleasantly cured ho mauy people regarded by our noble Faculty of medicine as incurable ; and it cannot now be s.id that proies-ional men have been distance i by ordinary mortals. I glory in tne fact that I belong, by birth and education to the professional class. I regret, however, that the commercial couditions of things renders it necessary that I diould adopt a system of actiou at variance with professional etiquette for the sale of my goods. Ie is, however, a great satisfaction to me th*t the grandest cure 3 which-could be accomplished anywhere have teen done iv the very city aud country where the discovery was made, and I trust that as people get accustomed to the use of the Scottish Oil, we shall nee hundreds ani thousands of suffering humanity rejoice again in the vig r and strength of regenerate i constitution.. Here follows the most extraordinary list of cures ever presented to the inhabitants ot these colonies: — Fieteb-t Years a Marttr to Headache. July 11, 1877. Dear Sir,— lt is impossible for auy one (o express his heartfelt gratitude for the relief I nuw erjoy Irom a terrible affliction, under which 1 existed for years. I can hardly now think of it but with horror. It must be a great satisfaction for you to know that your Oils can so quickly and painlessly cure. I shall certainly feel bound to tell the good news to all my fri.nds. James Goodwin. £60 Spent, bot got No Kbliei*. Testimonial. — Another testimonial respecting Potties Highland Oil has been received by the Agent, Mr C. L. Tweedie. It is as follows: — Sir, for many years I have suffered from rheumatism in the bick; and some time ago it cost me over £.0 to go to Sydney and have medic il advice, without, however, receiving any rtlief. I determined to try a bottle of Highland Oil, for which you are agent, and have mu.h pleasure in stating that after a few applications I was entirely relieved from all pain, and can Baiely recommend it to others suffering from a similar complaint to mine.— Joan Modie, Bombah. Lumbago fob 26 Years. Ryletone, October 7, 1876. To Messrs White & MVulioch. Kylatnne. Gentlemen,— l have much pleasure in informing you, as Agents for Potties Scottish Highland (Jii, that the said medicine has been the means of curing me from lumbago, from which I have suffered for the p »st 26 year*?, being at times scarcely able to crawl, owing to ihe severity of the complaiut. I make this statement feeling convinced fhst the Oils (S.H) will cure any one suffering in a like planner. I request that you will give publicity to the ab )ve, and remain yours very truly, — John McNeil, Beaton. 102, Liverp )01-street, Sydney. Dear Sir,— l was Md up for many long months in bed. and bad tried all the doctors could do for me, but got only woree. At last a man called with a little of Sottish Oil. I was then in bed, suffering terrible agony, with my legs bent uuder me. I saw no h.pe for lie; but the firsi bottle ot your Oil brought relief, nnd I could crawl about. I stuck to the fomentation, Oil?, and hot iron, and iv two months got the use of my limbs. I on never expect to be perfectly well, for I ara an old man, but I owe all to the Scottish Highland Oi I.—Arch1 .— Arch WEldowny. Newtown. Trent. -three }ears bad with a turaonr on ray neck, and tried no end of prescriptions, uitil I saw that an operation was my only chance. Fortunately I heard about the Scottish Oil, and by rubbing regularly, the tumour melted away without any kind of pain.— H. Chass, Newtown. Fbom Sydney Freeman's Journal. MIRACULOUS.— A most miraculous cure has come under my notice i;i Araiuen. A miner in this locality named Duggan had been complaining for years of a swelling on his breast, which defied the me lical skill of the district. Dr Lhweljn, residing in Braidwood, ai'ter vainly experimenting with divers parace is. &c, advised the patient to ao to the Sydney Infirmary After some time he did as he was counselled, but what was the result ? Why, after remaining in the hospital for about nine months u*i< cr the treuttueat of the leading medicos, he was pronounced incurable. He returned to Aralueu worse in fact than when he went to Sydney, owing, I suppose to the vast quantities of medicine he had taken, coupled withths fatigue of such a long overland journey. Some months ago Mr Curry (Dr Llewellyn's servant) suggested to Mr Duggan t. rub the swelling with "Potties Highland Oil.' He did as was suggested, and wonderful was the result. The swelling came to a head in a short time, and burst, discharging a quantity of matter. In one of these discharges a bono cam*, out, it being the sole cause of the swelling, as, can be testified by the man, whose health has been perfectly restored. He is now able to work as usual in the claim. Now, the nut lor your Sydney M.D.'s is, how came the bone there? My principal re»«on for writing this, is to inform those gentlemen wh> attended Mr Duggan at the Infirmary of the mysterious result.— Aralueu Co-respondent. Manufactured by J. POTTIE, 263, Eliza-beth-street, Sydney. SOLE AGENT FOR NELSONCHARLES MKLIM, JTBAFAIiGAR-STREET. 3961
