The Kennedy will leave Greymouth for Nelson via Westport to night. The Wallace arrived at Wanganui this morning, and will sail for Nelson to-night. The Lyttelton arrived from Blenheim this morning, and will sail for that port at 11 a.m. to-moyrow. The Charles Edward will leave Hokitika for Nelson to-morrow via intermediate ports, arriving here on Saturday. Mr Franzen's schooner Richard and Mary is loading at Lyttelton with general cargo, and is expected to sail for JNapier to-night. # The Prospect sails for Waitapu and Colling wood with the San Francisco mail at high water this evening. The Albion left Westport at two o'clock this morning, will arrive to-night and sail for Wellington, South, and Melbourne tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock. The Taranaki left Onehunga at 8.40 this morning. She leaves New Plymouth at daylight to-morrow, will arrive here in the evening, and sail for Picton, Wellington, and South by the same tide at 7 p.m. The Awaroa has made another good trip to Wanganui. ' She left here on Saturday afternoon, and was knocking about the Bay during the whole of Sunday, she having been seen from the shore on the afternoon of that day; The schooner arrived at her destination yesterday morning. The Union Company's s.s. Wanaka arrived in harbor this morning shortly after seven o'clock and was berthed alongside the Government Wharf. She left Wellington at 2.15 p.m. yesterday, and reached Picton at five minutes past seven; sailed at ten minutes past ten, and arrived here as above. A pleasant passage was had across the Straits. The Wanaka sails for Taranaki and Manukau at 6 p m. The New Zealand Shipping Company's Ship Mataura arrived at Wellington from London via Napier on Saturday evening last. She made the passage to Napier in 89°davs' and brought 106.J immigrants there. The' Mataura is under the command of Captain Alex. Brown, who was here a little over three years ago as chief officer of the barque Adamant. Captain Brown made some tall running on the passage out, the Mataura's best days' work being 304, 342, 325, aud 310 miles per day. Messrs M'Meckan, Blackwood & Co.'s s.s. Alhambra, Captain Muir, came into harbor this morning at seven o'clock, and was berthed alongside the Commercial Wharf. She left Sandridge Pier on November 2 1st at 2.30 p.m., passed Cape Schank at 8.20 p.m., and Wilson's Promontory at 4 a.m. next'day] stopped at Swan Island to laud stores for the Lighthouse at 4.5 p.m.; took th* pilot on board at Ironpot Lighthouse at 1.25 p.m. on the 23rd, arriving at Hobarton at 3 p.m.; left again at 1.30 p.m. on the 24th, passed Cape Pillar at 5 20 p.m., experienced fresh N.E. Winds and fine weather across to the Bluff, arriving there at 9.30 a.m. on November 28th; left at 4.30 p.m. same day, passed s.s. Eingarooma at 11.15 p.m., and arrived at Port Chalmers at 7.15 a.m. on the 29th; left on November 30th at 3 30 p m., and arrived at Lyttelton at 11 a.m. on December Ist; left same day at 8 p.m., arriving at Wellington on December 2ud at 4.30 p.m.; left at 3.15 p.m. yesterday, and arrived here as above. Head winds were met with on the run up the New Zealand Coast. The Alhambra sailed for Melbourne via West Coast ports shortly after 8 o'clock.
