It is refreshing to find Ladies and Gentlemen who, in gratitude for the relief brought them, either go to the trouble and expense of puolishiog the fact, or wriii;ig to th-.ic frieuds, teiliog them about the SCOTTISd HIGHLAND OIL, or. in the spirit of true gratitude, visit the afflicted, and show them how tbeir agonies may be appeased and their suffi. rings alleviated. Already a long list of names have been enrolhd, and it is my desire that all who have been cured should send me their address, not for publication, but as a satisfaction to my own mind, aod as a just tribute to the Oils. I think there cannot be any fear of being accused of exaggeration after reading tha testimonials pubiished, and those now appearing, to say that in the experience of human knowledge there never has been an agent offered to tbe public which has so easily, painlessly, and pleasantly cured co many people regarded by our noble Faculty of medicine as incurable ; and it cannot now be s*id thafprofesdonal men bave been distanced by ordinary mortals. I glory in 6Ue fact that I belong, by birth and education to the professional class. I regret, however, that the commercial conditions of things renders it necessary that I should adopt a system of action at variance witb professional etiquette for tae sale of my goods. Ie is, however, a great satisfaction to me tint the grandest cures which could be accomplished anywhere have been done in the very city and country where the discovery was made, and I trust that as people get accustomed to the use of the Scottish Oil, we Shall aea hundreds and thousands oic suffering humanity rejoice again in the vig^r and strength ot regenerated constitutions. Here follows the most extraordinary list of cures ever presented lo the inhabitants oi these colonies: — FiFrEEN Years a Mabtte to Headache. July 11, 1877. Dear Sir,— lt is impossible for any one to express his heartfelt gratitude tor the relief I now erjoy from a terrible affliction, under which I existed for years. I can hardly now think of it but with horror. It must be a great satisfaction for you to know that your Oils c»n so quickly and painlessly cure. I shall certainly feel bound to tell the good news to all my friends. James Goodwin. £60 Spent, bot got No Relief. Testimonial. — Another testimonial respecting Potties Highland Oil has been received by the Agent, Mr C. L. Tweedie. It is as follows:— Sir, for many years I have suffered from rheumatism in the back; and some time ago it cost me over £60 to go to Bydney and have medic*! advice, without, however, receiving any relief. I determined to try a bottle of Highland Oil, for which you are agent, and have muoh pleasure in stating that after a few applications 1 was entirely relieved from all pain, and can sately recommend it to others suffering from a similar complaint to mine.— John Mddie, Bombals. Lumbago fob 26 Yeabs. Rylsfcone, October 7, 1876. To Messrs White & M'Oulloch, Rylstone. Gentlemen,— l have much pleasure in informing you, ns Agents for Potties Scottish Highland uil, that the said medicine has been the means of curing me from lumbago, from which I have suffered for the past 26 years being at times scarcely able to crawl, owing to ihe severity of the complaint. I make this statement feeling convinced that the Oils (S.H.) will cure any one suffering in a like minner. I request that you will give publicity to tbe abave, anil remain yours very truly,— John McNeil Beaton. 102, Liverp3ol-atreet, Sydney. Dear Bir,— l was laid up for many long months in bed. and had tried all the doctor* could do for me, but got only worse. At last a man called with a little of Scottim Oil. I was then in bed, suffering terrible agony, with my legs bent under me. I saw no hope for lie; but the first botlle of your Oil brought relief, H nd I could crawl about. I stuck to the fomentation, Oils, and hot iron, and in two months got the use of my limbs. I can never expect to be perfectly well, for I am an old man, but I owe all to the Scottish Highland Oil.— Abch M'Eldownt. Newtown. Twenty-thres years bad with a tumour on my neck, and tried no end of prescriptions, until I saw that an operation was my only chance. Fortunately I heard about the Scottish Oil, and by rubbing regularly, the tumour melted away without any kind of pain.— H. Chase, Newtown. From Stdney Freeman's Jourhal. MIRACULOUS.— A most miraculous cure has coiie under my notice in Araluen. A miner in this locality named Duggan had been complaining lor years of a swelling on his breast, which dtfied the meiical skill of the district. Dr Llewellyn, residing in Braidwood, alter vainly experimenting with divers panacens. &c, advised the patieut to go to the Sydney Infirmary After come time he did as he was counselled, but what was the result ? Why, after remaining in the hospital for about nine months umier the treatment of the leading medicos, he was pronounced incurable. He returned to Araluen worse in fact than when he went to Sydney, owing, 1 suppose to the vast quantities of medicine'he had taken, coupled with the fatigue of such a long overland journey, borne months ago Mr Curry (Dr Llewellyn's servant) suggested to Mr Duggan to rub the swelling with "Potties Highland Oi!.' He did as was suggested, and wonderful was the result. The swelling came to a head in a short time] and burst, discharging a quantity oi matter. in one of these discharges a bone came out, it being the sole cause ot the swelling, as can be testified by the man, whose health has been perfectly restored. He is now able to work as usual iv the claim. Now, the nut for your Sydney M.D.'s is, how came the bone there? My principal reason for writing this, is to inform those gentlemen who attended Mr Duggan at tbe Infirmary of tha mysterious result.— Araluen Corresponden t. Manufactured by J. POTTIifi, 263, Eliza-beth-street, Sydney. SOLE AGENT FOR NELSON— CHARLES HARLING, ITSAFAIifIAR-STSEET. 396J
