The Wallace sailed for We3t Coast ports this afternoon. The Waitara arrived at the Wellington Heads this morning. The Australia, with the San Francisco mail will be due at Auckland on Friday next. The Kennedy made a good passage to Wellington, having arrived there at 6.30 this morning. She will- return here on Thursday, and sail for West Coast ports on Friday at 10 a.m. The Hawea left Onehunga to-day at noon for New Plymouth. She will arrive here tomorrow night, and sail for Picton, Welliugton, and South at 1 p.m. on Thursday. The Alhanibra was due at the Bluff to-day, but lip the time of our going to press her arrival was not notified on the Telegraph board. The Lady Barkly returned from Motueka late last evening, and made a trip there and back to-day. She leaves for Golden Bay to-morrow morning at six o'clock. The, p.s. Grafton, recently purchased by Captain Williams, of Wellington, is due at that port from Sydney to-day. We understand that she ia to be placed in the West Coast coal trade. The cutter Midge. is now beginning to assume something like a shape for going to sea, the mast having been stepped and part of the rigging set up. . The repairs are now nearly .completed, and .she will be lowered down off the blocks some time this week. The Nelson has met with smart despatch. She discharged the . Nelson portion of her cargo during the day, and six o'clock in the evening saw her on the way to Waitapu. Judging by the pace at which she travelled she should be at her destination this moming. The Nelson loads at Waitapu with timber for Wellington. The Union Company's s.s. Wanaka, Captain M'Gillivray, arrived at the outer anshorage at 9 o'clock this morning, and came into harbor at 11. She left Port Chalmers on Friday afternoon, and arrived at Lyttelton on Saturday morning; sailed the same evening, |and reached Wellington on Sunday afternoon; left at 2.15 p.m. yesterday, and arrived at Picton at 7 p.m.; sailed at 11 p.m. for Nelson, came through the Pass at five o'clock this morning, after which the engines were- eased down, and kept going at half speed until arrival here as above. After discharging a fair cargo the Wanaka sailed for Taranaki and Manukau shortly after one o'clock.
