It is refreshing to Qnd Ladies and Gentle- ! men who, in gratitude for the relief brought them, either go to She trouble and expense of publishing the fact, or writing to their: friends, teiliDg them about; the SCOTTIS d HIGHLAND OIL, or, in the spirit of true j gratitude, visit the afflicted, and show themtiow their agonies may be appeased and! their sufferings alleviated. ■ Already a long list of names have been cnrolKd, and it is my desire that all who have been cured should send me their address, , not for publication, but as & eatisfaciion to my own mind, and aa a just tribute to the Oils. I think there cannot be any fear of being accused of exaggeration after leading the testimonials published, and those now appearing, to say that in the experience of human' knowledge there never haa been an agent offered to the public which has so easily, painlessly, and pleasantly cured so niany people regarded by our noble Faculty of medicine as incurable ; and it cannot now be ssid that profeauonal men have been distanced by ordinary mortals. I glory in the fact that I belong, by birth and education to, the professional class. I regret, however, that the commercial conditions of things renders it necessary that I should adopt a system of action at variance with professional etiquette for the sale of my goods. 1c is, however, a great satisfaction to me that the grandest cures which could he accomplished anywhere have been done in the very city and country where the discovery was made, and I trust that as people get accustomed to the use of the Scottish Oil, we shall see hundreds and tbousands of suffering humanity rejoice again in tlie vigor and strength of regener&teil constitutions. Here follows the moat extraordinary list of cures ever presented to the inhabitants of these colonies: — Fifteen Yeaeß a Martyb to Headache. Ju«y 11, 1877. Dear Sir,— lt is impossible for any one to express his heartfelt gratitude for the relief I now, enjoy lrom a terrible affliction, under which I existed for years. I can hardly now think of it but with horror. Ie muat be a great satisfaction for you to know that your Oils c*n so quickly and painlessly cure. I shall certainly feel bouad to tell the good news to all my friends. — — James Goodwin. j£6o Spbnx, but got No Relief. Testimonial.— Another testimonial respecting Potties Highland Oil has been received by the Agent, Mr C. L. Tweedie. It is as follows:— Sir, for many years I have suffered from rheumatism in the back; and some time ago it cost me over £60 to go to Sydney and have inedicil advice, without, however, receiving any relief. I determined to try a bottle of Highland Oil, for which you are agent, and have tnujh pleasure in statiug that after a few applications i. was entirely relieved from all pain, an«i can eately recommend it to others suffering from a similar complaint to mine.— John Mddie, Bombala. Lumbago for 26 Years. Rylstone, October 7, 1876. To Messrs. White & M'Oulloch, Rylstone. Gentlemen,— l have much pleasure in informing you, as Agents for Potties Scottish Highland Oil, that the said medicine has been the means of curing me from lumbago, from which I have suffered for the p*st 26 years, betog at times scarcely able to crawl, owing to the severity of the complaint. I make thia statement feeling convinced that the Oils (S.H.) will cure any one suffering in a like manner. I request that you will give publicity to the above, and remain yours very truly, — John McNeil Beaton. 102, Liverpiol-atreet, Sydney. Dear Sir,— l waa laid up for many long montha in bed. and had tried all the doctor* could do for me, but got only worse. At last a man culled with a little of Scottish Oil. I was then in bed, suffering terrible agony, with my legs bent under me. I saw no hope for life; but the firai bottle of your Oil brought relief, and I could crawl about. I stuck to the fomentation, Oil*, and hot iron, and in two months got the use of my limbs. I c*n never expect to be perfectly well, for I am an old man, but I owe all to the Scottish Highland Oi!.— Abch M'Eldowny. ■ , Nbwtown. Twenty-threß years bad with a tumour oa my neck, and tried no end of prescriptions, until I saw that an operation was my only chance. Fortunately I heard about ths Scottish Oil, and by rubbing regularly, the tumour melted away without auy kind of pain. — H. Chase, Newtown. From Sydney Freeman's Journal. MIRACULOUS.— A most miraculous cure has come under my notice in Araluen. A miner in this locality named Duggan had been complaining for years of a swelling on hia breast, which defied the me lical skill of the dietrlct. Dr Llewellyn, residing in Braidwood, after vainly experimenting with divers panaceas, &c, advised the patient to go to the Sydney Infirmary After some time he did as he waa counselled, but what waa the result ? Why, after remaining in the hospital for about nine months under the treatment of the leading medicos, he was pronounced incurable. He returned to Aralueu worse in fact than when he went to Sydney, owing, I suppoee to the vast quantities of medicine he had taken, coupled with the fatigue of such a long overland journey. Some months ago Mr Curry (Dr Llewellyn's servant) suggested to Mr Duggan to rub the swelling with "Potties Highland Oil.' He did aa was suggested, and wonderful was the result. The swelling came to a head in a short time, and burst, discharging a quantity of matter. In one of these discharges a bone cams out, it being the sole cause of the swelling, aa can be testified by the man, whose health has been perfectly restored. He is now able to work as usual in the claim. Now, the nut lor your Sydney M.D.'a is, how came the bone there? My principal reason for writing this, ia to inform those geutleinen who attended Mr Duggan at the Infirmary of the mysterious result.— Aralueu Correapondent. Manufactured by J. POTTIS, 263, Eliza-beth-street, Sydney. SOLE AGENT FOX NELSON— CHARLES HHMM, .TSAFAIifIAR-STfSBBT. 3961
