MAGISTRATES' COURT.
[Below J. Sclandehs and C. de V. TescheMAKER, Esq3.,J.J.P.] The adjourned assault case between Fer diaandi Merani, complainant, and Onpralo Morlandi, defendent, was heard this morning. Mr Acton Adams, for Mr Atkinson, appeared for the complainant, and Mr Pitt, for Mr Bunny, for the defendant. Mr Antonio Bogden acted as interpreter. The case, which did not possess much interest, occupied a long time in the hearing, as the whole of the evidence had to be interpreted. Eventually defendant was fined £1 and costs £3 8s 6d. Shaw.-Action to recover tl 3s for goods supplied. Judgement for amount claimed and £2 3s costs. Mr Bunn v appeared for the plaintiff.
