" She reports the bar in a bad state. The Australian Maid arrived from Awaroa yesterday with a load ot firewood. The Ringarooina left Melbourne for the Bluff with the Suez mail oh Tuesday. The Richard and Mary leaves for Pelorus Sound this afternoon. The Maori left Lyttelton yesterday afternoon for Nelson. She will arrive this evening, and sail for Westport, Grey* Hokitika, Bluff, and Dunedin to-morrow at noon. Messrs Shaw & Saville's barque Schiehallion, which arrived at Wellington about five weeksrago, has completed her loading, and •will sail for London shortly. The Wellington leaves Wellington for Northern ports at 1 pm. to-morrow. She will arrive here early on Saturday morning, and sail =-'id the afternoon for Taranaki and Manukau, with the outward San Francisco mail: v The Arawata, with the outward Suez mail is advertised to sail for Melbourne via Wellington and South to-morrow. It will been seen by our telegrams that the hull of the Waihopai, which was wrecked at Wellington Heada last week, did not realise a very large amount, £9 being all that it fetched. The cargo was sold for £19 10s. The Awaroa sailed for Wanganui on Tuesday afternoon with a full cargo. With the good sou-westec which was blowing at the time, and which she must have carried With her all night, it is probable that she is at her destination by this time. The p.s. Wallace, Captain Dillon, arrived in harbor at 11 o'clock this morning. She leffc. Nelson for Wanganui on Monday, the 12th in3t., experienced a strong S.W. wind and heavy sea, arriving alongside the Corporation Wharf there at 3 p.m.; sailed again for Nelson yesterday at 4 p.m., had light N.W.wind and fine weather across, arriving here as above. She brings a cargo of sheep and cattle for Mr Mabin. The Uuion Company's s.s, Wanaka, Captain M'Gillivray, arrived in harbor at an early hour this morning. . She leffc Onehunga at 1.30 p.m. on Tuesday, and reached Taranaki at daylight yesterday; disembarked and embarked passengers, and landed cargo, sailing for Nelson at 8 a.m., and arrived here as above. Fine weather with fresh winds characterised the passage down. The Wanaka sailed 'for Picton, Wellington, and South shortly after 1 p.m.
