Melbourne, Nov. 10. There was a large attendance at the races to-day. The weather was spendid. AH Aged Stakes— Bosworth, l; Emily, 2; Tim Whittle 3. This was a good race. Time, Imin. 45secs. Mares ProducejStakes— Chester won easily; First King, 2 ; Lockleys, 3. Time, 2min. 12secs. V.R.C. Handicap— Woodlands, 1 5 Whisperer, 2; Vagabond 3. Won by two lengths. Time, 3min. s£secs. Steeplechase— Lone Hand, 1; All Fours, 2 ; Opposition, 3. This was a very good race. Canterbury Plate— Glenormiston, 1; Robinson Crusoe, 2. Won by a head. Time, 4min. f sec. Sydnet, Nov. 10. The Tanjore, with the Suez mail, arrived at Glenelg yesterday. Passengers for New Zealand — Rev. Elton wife ard children, Messrs Lightbard and Halliday.
