COMMERCIAL.
Sharp & Pickering report the sale of part of town section 444, adjoining the office of H. Adams and Son, by auction, for the sum of £187 10s. Also, 14 head of cattle, 2 and 3 years, mixed sexes, at £4 17s 6d per head. Mr Mabin reports the sale at the Nelson Auction Booms of a quantity of drapery and furniture. There was a good attendance and satisfactory prices were obtained. At the Commercial Wharf he sold the cattle landed ex WaUabi, en route from Wanganui to Greymouth, and the prices obtained were equal to expectations.
H. J. L. Augarde reports the sale of cows on Saturday at £6 la 8d per head; mare, lame, £6 ss; also a 4-year-old, low condition', £5.
