There was a large attendance yesterday at Messrs Patterson & Co.'s auction sale of the household furniture belonging to J. Southern, Esq., and the prices realised were highly satisfactory. Drawing-room suite, £23; chests of drawers, £2 5s to £3 ss; cheffonier, £5 12s 6d; iron bedsteads, £2 12s; caneseated chairs, 7s to 8s 6d; pier glass, £4 4s; carpet, £2 10s; fender and fire-irons, £1 39; curtain poles, &c, £1 ss; cut decanters, 12s; cut glasses, 15s per dozen, &c, &c.
