Tsbason is five years old, stands nearly 16 hands high; a beautiful golden chestnut, with superior bone and action. Treason won the Bailway Stakes at Wanganui as a three-year-old, carrying 9st Uh. The same year he won the Consolation Stakesj at Nelaon, carrying 2st. Blbs. over weight., As a four-year-old he won the Patea Cup} At RangitiKei he won the Ladies' Purse of 2 miles, carrying list. 2lbs.; he also won the Goodwood Stakes, starting half-an-hour after winning the L idies' Purse. He ran third for tha Wellington Cup, beating the celebrate! horse Templeton and a host of others, nt the time suffering seveiely fiom fever in the feat. N.B.— At the last Canterbury sales, Traducer'a stock realised from three to eleven . hundred guiutas each. His services were charged at the rate of 50 guineas a mare. Tksms- £3 fs.
