The Murray reports a heavy sea and flooded river at Greymouth, which place she will leave for Westport and Nelson to-morrow. The Richard and Mary took in the necesary quantity of ballast to-day, and will sail for the Sandspit this evening. The Hawea leaves Onehuuga to-day, will arrive to-morrow eveuing, and sail for Southem ports on Monday at 1 i a.m. The repairs to the Prospect are being pushed forward, and she will be ready for sea ■ about the middle of next week. j The Maori left Westport at noon to-day. j She will arrive to-morrow morning, and sail for Lyttelton and Dunedin by the same tide. The Charles Edward left Westport this morning, will arrive to-morrow morning, and sail at 10 o'clock for Picton and Wellington in lieu of the Wallace, which is detained by the bad weather at Wanganui. The next steamer from the South will be the Wanaka, which leaves Wellington at 1 p.m. to-morrow. She may be expected here about mid-day on Sunday, and will sail for Northern ports at 1 p.m. on Monday. The Waipara sailed for West Coast ports afc 7 o'clock this morning. Against the strong S.W. wind which has been blowing all day it is scarcely likely that she will be able to hammer round the Sandspit. Should everything go right it will be a long time ere the Waipara cleaves the waters of Blind Bay again. Messrs M'Meckan, Blackwood & Co.'s s.s. Ringarooma, Captain Whitburn, arrived iu harbor this morning at 1 1 o'clock, with a fair number of passengers and a large cargo. She left Sandridge Railway Pier on the afternoon of the 17th, and arrived at the Bluff on Sunday night after a fine weather passage dowu; sailed on Monday afternoon for Port Chalmers, and arrived there on Tuesday morning: left the same day and reached Lyttelton on Wednesday morning; sailed in the afternoon, and arrived at Wellington yesterday morning; left at 6 p.m., and had fine weather until nearing The Brothers, when a strong gale from the N.W. was experienced, coui- : pelling the steamer to dodge about in the vicinity of those islands until early this morning, when she came on, passed Jackson's head^fc 4.30 a.m., and came through the Pass afc 7 o'clock, arriving here as above. The Ringarooma sails for Melbourne and Southern ports at 10. o'clock to-night, conveying passengers to the Melbourne race3.
